Wood: check for deterioration/discoloring

Metal and Vinyl: power clean to avoid cracking

Joints: recaulk all loose/missing joints

Soil Contact: keep 6" minimum clearance

Brick/Stone/Stucco: check for deterioration/cracks/missing mortar

Screens: clean and install. Remove/store storm windows/door inserts

Shingles: reposition/replace damaged/missing/loose elements. Treat wood roofs and siding with a perservative if needed. Remove any branches/leaves. Trim back trees adjacent to roof.

Gutters and Downspouts: clean and seal seams/check for sags or missing supports. And splashblocks or pipe water away at downspout discharge
