Summer is upon us, and what’s a better way to make the most of the sunshine than to spend time with friends and family? From outdoor concerts to farmers markets, there are all kinds of seasonal adventures to be had. Best of all, you don’t have to travel far: Crown Point has a number of exciting upcoming events happening right in Bulldog Park. If you need some ideas for your summer plans, check out the events our team has featured in this list and mark your calendar!

Summer Concert Series

If you’re looking for great music to kick back and relax to, take a look at the lineup for this year’s summer concert series. Enjoy If you’re in the mood for some classic rock, be sure to stop by the Echoes of Pompeii concert on July 16th. There are so many other bands to look forward to, including The Relics, Mellencougar and much more. No matter what your music taste is, you’ll have a blast sitting outdoors listening to some great tunes. 

Ongoing Weekly Events

Crown Point has a few events that will happen every week. On Saturdays, visit the farmers market from 8 AM to 1 PM. There will be all kinds of booths featuring locally grown produce, artisans and live music. There’s so much more for you to enjoy, so be sure to stop by. The farmer’s market runs from June through September.  

Each Thursday, Franciscan Health Pavilion will be hosting a Crown Point Cruise Nite. Come see all kinds of stunning vehicles at this event. If you enjoy vintage cars or simply want to do something fun outdoors, this event is perfect for you and your family. 

Special Events

Be sure to visit a few special events planned in Crown Point. Highlights include a Jerrod Neimann & Thompson Square concert as well as a Red Cross blood drive at the end of the month. On August 27th, enjoy some delicious corn on the cob at the Crown Point corn roast. You can try all kinds of great food alongside a beer garden and live music. It’s an old-fashioned street celebration that truly is the height of summer. 

Splash Pad, Firepits and More

Bulldog Park has regular hours where you can bring your kids to the splash pad! It’s the perfect way to cool off from the summer heat. The splash pad is open most days of the week with available hours so your children can have a blast. Plus, you can enjoy other annuities that Bulldog Park has to offer, including fire pits and community rooms. It’s the perfect place to spend a quiet evening with loved ones. With so many possibilities, you’ll have no problem making this summer one to remember.
