Estero

Estero Real Estate
& Community Information

Nestled between Fort Myers and Naples in Southwest Florida, Estero takes its name from the Spanish word for “estuary,” a fitting nod to the Estero River that shaped its earliest days as a citrus-farming settlement in the 1880s. The area later drew the Koreshan Unity, a religious community led by Cyrus Teed, whose historic buildings still stand at the Koreshan State Historic Site. After decades as an unincorporated area experiencing rapid growth, residents voted overwhelmingly (86%) to establish the Village of Estero in December 2014. Today, this AAA-rated municipality, a distinction placing it among the top three percent of Florida communities, blends small-town charm with upscale amenities, drawing homeowners who want nature, culture, and convenience in one place.

Our talented realtors at The Jana Caudill Team are excited to help you and your family explore everything this community has to offer.
