Melissa Knipper

Melissa joins the Jana Caudill Team Brokered by eXp Realty as the Executive Assistant bringing an eclectic background of communication, people, and organizational skills. She enjoys assisting people live their best life both personally and professionally and helping them reach their goals and potential.

Growing up in Geneva, IL, Melissa settled in Crown Point and has lived here for 20 years. A graduate of the University of Iowa she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Communication. After graduation, Melissa began a career in the Human Resource industry focusing on job recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations. Her recent career was a complete switch in gears as she joined the world of education working as an English Language Learner Paraprofessional, working with students and teachers. Melissa worked with students of all different cultures and languages, helping them adapt to the emersion of learning in English daily. She assisted the teachers in student’s needs, understanding their backgrounds, and families.

Melissa and husband Brian have raised two boys and enjoy spending time together as a family. They enjoy playing card games, watching movies, and playing outdoors. As a family, we all participate in a foundation that provides a scholarship and takes care of little league baseball fields. We also donate our time with Marathon Pipeline reaching to different communities through their safety programs to educate homeowners for the need of 811.
